The FIJET Young Journalist Program provides an opportunity for young journalists to work with experienced journalists and visit an exotic location.

The last Academy was held in the beautiful alpine city of Bled, Slovenia from May 7-14, 2010. the next one is schedule for May 27 -  June 3, 2011 in Portoroz, Slovenia.

The program includes seminars, workshops and hands-on learning experiences. Participating journalists are also given tours and opportunities to meet and talk with tourism professionals. For 2010, the theme will be "Innovations in Green Tourism.".

Participating students will be required to collaborate on writing and presenting an article or report (to be selected by the students) during the course of studies. Students are also required to write (for print publications) or produce (for radio and television) a report on the host country.
