Towards a new strategy for Fijet Academy
The Ad Hoc committee for Fijet Young Journalists Academy elected by the Board of Directors in Antalya held its first meeting in Hammamet- Tunisia under the chairmanship of Philippe Moachon, President of AFJET.Tijani Haddad, Fijet President, Jacque Campé Fijet SG, Bernadette Roux, Treasurer and Sema Kutlu from Aturjet, member of the committee took part in this meeting.
The objective was to evaluate the past editions of the academy and discuss the basis of a new strategy for educating and training Young Tourism Journalists to be proposed during the coming meeting of EC and Board of Directors. The major idea is to provide students three levels of training starting on the national level, then the international session of the academy in a chosen country to be completed by a practical training before and during Fijet congress. Philippe Moachon will prepare a detailed report on this issue which will be sent to all National associations.
